About OwlSound
Heard of me? Maybe not. Did you know that when an owl flies, it makes no sound?
I'm a farm boy from Lesja who somehow found his way to the Trøndelag coast and discovered a passion for sound. I've long had an interest in film, but in recent years I've specialized in sound recording and post-production. At the same time, I've also worked with rigging, live mixing, and audio for theatre and stage productions — giving me a broader approach to the craft. After three years at Nord University in Levanger, I hold a bachelor's degree in Film and TV Production — and an even stronger drive to work with sound.
Since starting OwlSound in late summer 2024, I've had the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects, both on set, on stage, and in post-production. In a relatively short time, I've gained valuable experience and started to establish a foothold in the industry — something I'm both proud of and motivated to keep building on.
My base is on the island of Hitra, about two hours west of Trondheim. Here, I've set up my own audio studio for editing and voice-over recording. I also have a reliable car that gets me where I need to go — whether it's nearby or a bit more off the map.
I work with a smile, I'm easy to collaborate with, and I do my best to make sure everyone around me enjoys the process as well. Whether it's on a film set, in a control room, or behind a mixing desk at a live event, the goal is always the same: great sound and great experiences. I speak and write fluent English, and adapt quickly to both people and productions.
